Course Objective

• The program objectives are to develop graduates who will utilize their expertise in science to solve chemical, pharmaceutical and biochemical etc… industries with scientific way.

• The M.Sc. Chemistry program associated with recognition and application of the basic principles of atomic and molecular structure to predict physical and chemical property and chemical reactivity in better way.

• The program would also enable the students to execute more critical scientific thinking in the performance, design, interpretation and documentation of laboratory experiments at a level suitable to succeed at an entry level position in chemical industry or a chemical Research program. Students are able to interpret and quantified data generated in the chemical and instrumental analysis.

• The knowledge of chemistry will enable students to understand safe handling of various chemicals and environmental impact faced by our society in energy, health and medicine in a better way. The M.Sc. Chemistry program is intended to bring these qualities in the students.

Program Outcomes

The students should gain:

• An ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry with Chemical and Mathematical Software.

• An ability to design and conduct experiments in Chemistry, as well as to analyze and interpret data of Various chemicals on the basis of its Properties with Computerising system.

• An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams with Innovative Research.

• An ability to identify, formulates, and solves Chemical handling problems in industrial Level.

• An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

• The broad education necessary to understand the impact of in various chemicals in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
