A visit was carried out by civil engineering department on surveying instrument total station,here foundation levelling of G+3 multi story building has done using total station in which students had mark points of layout of PCC bed of column.
They enable to understand different parts and functions of total station like centering & levelling, distance measuring system, coordinate of location, angle measurement from reference.
The main objective of the survey for us is to take an opportunity to consolidate and update our practical and theoretical knowledge in engineering surveying in the actual field condition.
They are learn that various tools and techniques in the surveying sector has led to introduce for the purpose of surveying and how total station is useful to get accurate data of field in easy way and short time period while other techniques will consume more time for the same work.
