Mission

The Mission of the department is to direct the students to accomplish the heights in all the basic subjects and lead them for better performance by making them good learners in all the above fundamental subjects. Here are some of the objectives set by the department to enable the future engineers to soar high in the sky of ICT and excel in their domain.

Course Objective

The aims and objectives of the teaching Humanities and Science subjects are to encourage and enable the students to develop:

  • An inquiring mind.
  • The Skills necessary for the effective Presentation of the topics.
  • A respect for and understanding of others’ perspectives, values and attitudes.
  • An understanding of the interactions and interdependence of individuals, societies and their environments.
  • An understanding of the causes and consequences of change through physical and human actions and processes.
  • An awareness of the connections with other subjects.
  • A lifelong interest in and enjoyment of humanities.
  • To maintain an environment that is conducive to learning.
  • To integrate theoretical course concepts with real world applications.
  • To create awareness among the students of the importance of English Language in today’s world.
  • To promote English reading, writing and speaking skill among the students.
  • To equip the students with study skills as well as language skills which will facilitate them in their studies and help them to become good professionals.
