Vision

To be a world class Engineering Institution in leading technological and socio-economic development of the country by enhancing the global competitiveness of technical manpower and by ensuring high quality technical education through dissemination of knowledge, insights and intellectual contributions.

Mission

The mission of the Diploma in Civil Engineering Program is to prepare its students for successful careers in Civil Engineering by providing a high quality, practice-oriented education that emphasizes design project experiences, “hands-on” laboratory activities, and teamwork.

Course Objective

The objective of Department of Civil Engineering is to excel in the fields of Civil Engineering through education, research and to produce conductive environment for preparing technocrats and patriotic engineers who have excellence to meet with global standards for socioeconomic needs of the society. Our students not became just degree holders but well prepared for successful careers in professional practice and also understand the value of honesty, indignity, sincerity and devotion to duty and be a patriotic engineers of bright and prosperous shining of India.

Program Outcomes

Civil engineers are the engineers who help society to function. Since their inception more than 150 years ago, the civil professions have addressed a broad spectrum of societal needs. Civil engineers are the engineers who help society to function. Historically, the civil engineering profession was concerned with the built environment, including the planning, designing, building, and managing of facilities important for a well-functioning society. In this broad historical context, civil engineers plan, design, construct, maintain, and improve structures, facilities, and other infrastructure, including transportation, Irrigation and energy systems, with the goal of wise and efficient use of resources. Develop a process for ongoing evaluation and review of the objectives so that institute became a brighter flame of education with progressive technology and solution provider to industry and society.
